Description
Section titled “Description”A field for a description of the project.
Visibility
Section titled “Visibility”Visibility is the setting for whether a project is public or private, and it is either “PUBLIC” or “Private”. You switch it in Danger Zone on the Settings screen.
- PUBLIC: the project is published as open data. It is listed in the “Explore” section of Re:Earth Dashboard, where anyone, including people who are not logged in, can search and view the project and download its data. Only items whose status is published are exposed and downloadable. Visibility and an item’s status (published, draft, and so on) are separate settings.
- Private: the project is not published as open data. To deliver only specific models and assets, allow them in Public API settings. Only paid plans can be set to private. On the Open & Public plan, a project cannot be set to private.
Listing and downloading in Explore are done on the Re:Earth Dashboard screens. For details, see the Dashboard documentation (in preparation).
Request requirement
Section titled “Request requirement”You set, per role, whether a request is required before changes are applied. You can set it for Owner, Maintainer, and Writer; Reader is out of scope. What you set here applies to every model in the project, including models that already exist.
For the workflow that publishes through review, see Request.
README and license
Section titled “README and license”A project can hold a README as its descriptive document and a license that states the terms of use. For details, see README / License.
