Approve, close, and reopen a request

You review requests on the project’s Request screen.
Approve a request
Section titled “Approve a request”Approves a request whose review is finished.
A request can be approved by Owner and Maintainer who are among that request’s reviewers. The requests that can be approved are those whose state is WAITING.
- Open the Request screen.
- Click the edit icon in the row of the request you are approving.
- Read the request’s description.
- Open the collapsed item’s row and check its contents. Clicking an item’s name takes you to that item’s input screen.
- Click Approve.
Once approved, the request’s state becomes Approved. The change in the request is applied to the item and published.
What is published is the content as of when the request was created. Edits made after the request was created are not published, and the item’s status becomes “Published & Draft”.
Close a request
Section titled “Close a request”Ends a request without approving it.
A request can be closed by Owner and Maintainer, and by Writer for the requests they created themselves. The requests that can be closed are those whose state is WAITING.
- On the Request screen, click the edit icon in the row of the request you are closing.
- Click Close.
A closed request’s state becomes Closed.
The change in the request is not published. The item’s status goes back to Draft or “Published & Draft”.
Close more than one request together
Section titled “Close more than one request together”- On the Request screen, check the checkbox in the row of each request you are closing.
- Click Close.
Reopen a closed request
Section titled “Reopen a closed request”Returns a closed request to being under review.
A request can be reopened by Owner and Maintainer. The requests that can be reopened are those whose state is Closed.
- On the Request screen, choose only Closed in the State column’s filter.
- Click the edit icon in the row of the request you are reopening.
- Click Reopen.
Once reopened, the request’s state goes back to WAITING.
