A comment is a post through which members communicate on an item, an asset, or a request. You can view and post comments on the Content, Asset, and Request screens respectively, from either the list or the detail screen.
What a comment holds

| Author | The user who wrote the comment. For a comment created through the Integration API, the name of the connected integration is shown. Comments you wrote yourself are marked “(Myself)“ |

Creating, editing, and deleting
Section titled “Creating, editing, and deleting”Members can create, edit, and delete comments. What each member can do is determined by their role; a Writer can edit and delete the comments they created themselves. For details, see Roles and permissions.
Comments on items and assets can be read, created, edited, and deleted through the Integration API. Comments on requests cannot be handled through the API. For details, see the CMS Developer Docs.
