Item Filter / Sort

Last updated

Filter and sort are specified against the item list on the Content screen. What you specify can be saved as a view.

A filter is specified by choosing a target field and a condition (operator). Some conditions require you to enter a value and others do not. You can specify more than one filter, and the items shown are those that meet all of them. The conditions you can choose are determined by the item field type you filter on.

Field typeConditions you can choose
Text, TextArea, Markdown text, Asset, URLis, is not, contains, doesn’t contain, start with, doesn’t start with, end with, doesn’t end with
Int, Floatis, is not, greater than, greater than or equal to, less than, less than or equal to
Dateis, is not, after, after or on, before, before or on, of this week, of this month, of this year
Boolean, Check Boxis, is not
Option, Tagis, is not
  • For the field types above, when the field is optional, “is empty” and “is not empty” can also be chosen.
  • “is empty”, “is not empty”, “of this week”, “of this month”, and “of this year” require no value.
  • For Geometry Object and Geometry Editor, only “is empty” and “is not empty” can be chosen, for optional fields.
  • Reference and Group fields, and fields set to hold multiple values, cannot be filtered on.
  • Filtering applies to an item’s fields and to metadata fields. The status, created at, created by, updated at, and updated by columns cannot be filtered.

Sorts the list by a chosen column, in ascending or descending order. In addition to fields, you can also sort by created at, created by, updated at, and updated by. You cannot sort by status.
