Create a request

A request is the mechanism for having an item reviewed before it is published. You create one by opening an item on the Content screen, and you choose the reviewers as you create it.

Creates a request for an item. You can create one both when you are about to publish an item you created and when you have edited an item that is already published.

Owner, Maintainer, and Writer can create a request. Reader can view requests.

  1. On the Content screen, open the input screen of the item you are creating a request for.
  2. Enter the content you want to publish and click Save. At this point the content is not published.
  3. Click the more actions icon (…) and choose New Request.
  4. Enter the Title.
  5. In Description, enter what you want to tell the reviewers, up to 100 characters. This is optional.
  6. In Reviewer, choose at least one person to review it. You can specify more than one person.
  7. Click OK.
  8. When the item you opened references items that are not yet published, a list of them appears. Choose the ones to include in the request.

You cannot create another request for an item that is already under review.

The request you created appears on the Request screen as “WAITING”.

The reviewers of a request you created can be changed afterwards.

The reviewers can be changed by Owner and Maintainer, and by Writer for the requests they created themselves.

They can be changed for a request whose status is “WAITING” or “Draft”.

  1. On the Request screen, click the edit icon in the row of the target request.
  2. On the Reviewer card, click Assign to. A field for choosing people opens.
  3. Choose the people to review it. Leave at least one reviewer chosen.
  4. To apply the change, click outside the field for choosing people.
