Every time you save, the item’s field values, status, and the date and time are recorded as a version. You check past versions on the Version History tab of the item’s input screen.
Check the contents of a past version
Section titled “Check the contents of a past version”Chooses a saved version and compares its contents with the current contents.
- On the Content screen, choose the target model.
- Open the input screen of the item you are checking.
- Open the Version History tab. Versions are listed newest first, and the newest one is marked current.
- Click the date and time of the version you are checking.
The contents of the version you chose are displayed alongside the current contents. The version side is read-only.
The Version History tab appears for an item that has one or more versions.
Restore the contents of a past version
Section titled “Restore the contents of a past version”Puts a past version’s contents back into the current item and saves.
- On the Content screen, choose the target model.
- Open the input screen of the item you are restoring.
- Open the Version History tab.
- Click the date and time of the version you are restoring.
- Click Restore.
- A confirmation appears at the top of the screen. Click Restore.
- The field values are replaced by the past version’s. Click Save.
The restored contents are not final until you click Save. Once saved, a new version is recorded, and all the versions up to then remain.
Restoring replaces only the field values; the Meta Data values do not change.
